I’m Leonardo Perez de la Cruz, born and raised in San Francisco. I’m a capture artist and cinematographer specializing in blending the visual language of gaming with cinematic storytelling. Over the past three years at EA Sports, I’ve contributed to major franchises, including Madden NFL and Formula 1, creating content that elevates the player experience beyond gameplay.
As a Lead Camera Artist, I guided the capture team in producing high-impact trailers and social media assets. I directed and reviewed footage with a focus on composition, motion, and authenticity. Creating dynamic visuals that make audiences feel as though they’re in the moment, not just watching it.
Outside of work, I continue to explore visual storytelling through gaming, film, and photography, constantly refining my eye for immersive, emotionally resonant imagery.
